80th birthday card

I used Papermania's Nostalgia warm stack for this project.
I simply adore the colours and design on these papers and have to say I get through rather alot of it, although it is becoming harder to source it.

Ooo nearly April already...

.... where do the days go to.
Well I have been busy, I have made lots of cards for my stall.
I thought the fair was on Sat and I wasn't anything like ready, but Boodles kindly informed me late Fri night that it was next week, so I decided to go to the Harrogate craft show.
I enjoyed the unexpected day out and managed to get lots of things which I had been looking for.
I also found out that there is a craft show in Leigh in May, so I will be visiting that.
I had to take my little car for it's mot and it passed - thankfully (it's like going to the dentist, waiting to see if it's going to pass or not)
So now I have to go and pick it up and pay the bill for mot and service (gulp)
Oh well it's only money....

Magnolia blog candy... Finished

Want some lovely blog candy then pop over to Claudia's blog 'Pretty Pressings' before April 2nd and follow the instructions to be in with a chance of grabbing these delicious stamps. Ooo go on just do it.

Well another week begins...

Monday again. I can't believe it's nearly April, what is happening the months are going by faster than ever.
It's lovely to see the signs of life around though, all the blossom and Hawthorne is springing into life, the frogs are spawning, the birds are nesting and all the trees and bushes are budding.
Doesn't it make life feel great?
Well what will I be doing today - I may go for a ride to the QVC outlet store (I love that place) then I have a Chicken to roast for tea, I have a whole load of cards to make for a stall at a Chaurh craft fair next week, and then there is the dreaded housework.
Mmmm I think maybe the craft shopping calls loudest and what's that I hear, the housework saying "leave me for another day" well what can I say....

I was worried for a while.....

I had a message left for me yesterday - the head of my daughter's school needed to talk to her Dad and me.
Well as you can imagine all sorts of thoughts were swimming round in my head, was she ill, had she not turned up, had something happened to her etc. etc.
It turns out that he wanted to congratulate us for having such a hard working, polite, helpful, well spoken, and intelligent daughter.
He said that her work was perfect, her manners impeccable and all the teachers had only good things to say about her and she was a credit to the school.
He was so pleased as it was such a change from having to tell parents that their child was misbehaving or under achieving and that she had helped his belief that their is hope for the younger generation yet.
We are so proud we could burst.

Making cards

Have spent the day making cards for the local Church craft fair.
I am trying to make all themes and finding it very draining as my inspiration is at an all time low.
Still I have another week yet to get sorted so hopefully I will cope...

Quad fold book

Am fed up...

... trying to sell the house.
Everytime someone wants to view, I have to pack all my craft things away and move half our things into the garage.
I can never find anything afterwards.
Still it's an excuse for a major tidy up and the house does look good for a while, that is until everything starts to come back in.
Ohh will we ever sell up and move? I want my new craft room!!!!
